The regatta aims to be a fun filled day with on-the-water and shore based activities aimed to include people of all ages and abilities. Most of the planned races are suitable for both sailboats and paddle boards/canoes to participate. The Club picos and toppers will be free to use for the regatta games/races.
Material will be available to build your own model boat on the day alternatively, if you prefer you can bring a pre-built model boat to enter on the day.
Tuck shop with cold drinks, icecreams and treats will be open to supplement your picnic. Charcoal will be available for those who wish to Barbecue.
There will be no entrance fee, but we are aiming to raise money for Yorkshire aire ambulance so we suggest a minimum donation of £5 per person with all funds going to the charity.
Assistance will be appreciated to help ensure the Regatta is fun event for all. We aim to start at 10:30. Once the picos are on the water we will be able to begin the on water games.
