Buoyancy Day 2020!
This is the annual opportunity to have you boat checked over by a committee member. Plastic and Fibreglass boats are subject to a visual once over, older and wooden boats are typically subject to full buoyancy test in the lake. You'll also need to produce proof of insurance and then you'll be issued with your 2020 Boat Sticker.
It is also a great opportunity to come meet other club members and have a fun day together.
The day will start from 9.30am onwards for members to have a good look over their boats and have a practice sail in the morning.
Very reasonably priced hot food available (Chilli, vegan chilli and baked potatoes) on a first-come-first-served basis, so we can have an idea of numbers please use the registration form to order food.
ANNUAL AWARDS CEREMONY at around 1pm where we will be handing out the club's race trophies, cups and other awards for the 2019 year.
The first race of the 2020 season is a one-hour 'Buoyancy Day Race' which will start at 2pm. A great opportunity to meet members new and old and for us all get together for a trip round the buoys... and hopefully back again. The race winner will win the Knotford Noggin Cup!
