BART'S BASH
Sunday 20 September 2015 is the day that you have the opportunity to get into the Guineas Book of Records - the world's biggest sailing race is coming to Otley!
As a legacy to Olympic sailor Andrew Simpson (Bart), Bart's Bash is being organised to raise funds for the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation.
As always at Otley, previous racing experience is not required but to satisfy the Guineas Book of Records we need to comply with the event rules.
The Bart's Bash race will be held at 12:00 over a measured 1km course.
We need as many people as possible to take part.
Club boats will be available for hire. After this you can either have fun on the water or take part in other races.
Instead of providing food we are encouraging people to bring food to share with others.
